AIM STATEMENT

Our mission is to deliver quality health care education.

We aim to provide high quality, non-discriminatory care to our diverse community by providing access and information without bias. We accomplish this by ensuring that our healthcare providers receive a state of the art education with an emphasis on innovation. By assuring that our residents’ education is cutting edge, we are able to provide the highest quality of care for our patients.

In addition, we provide access to a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home as the primary clinical site. With an emphasis on wellness and prevention, our patients benefit from learners who “go the extra mile” to facilitate access to evidence-based care. We have a multidisciplinary approach with behavioral health, pharmacy and OMT well integrated in our clinic.

Our Family Medicine led inpatient team provides excellent care to our own patients in the hospital. The resident inpatient experience consists of a broad spectrum of family medicine with educational emphasis on the management of acutely ill, hospitalized patients, selection of therapeutic agents and appropriate consultation. Multidisciplinary care is emphasized through active participation in rounds by case managers, pharmacists and behavioral health specialists as key members of our inpatient team.

Our residents have the option to pursue a Diabetes Fellowship or a Faculty Development Fellowship after completion of their Family Medicine Residency.
